Compromised computer

The U.S. and Israel both recently have news sites that require you to accept that they may be allowed to search your device if you want access to their news. I unfortunately clicked on that x-square at least twice, without really knowing what I was doing. In connection with that, I had a problem with my Swedish VPN-service OVPN, so the second time I clicked on the icon I didn’t have my VPN-service up and running. The VPN-service didn’t react quickly after the first time I clicked on the news site’s x-icon, if I may put it like that. If it worked at all. The second time, the VPN service wasn’t up and running as mentioned. The problem with my VPN was that I didn’t have an Internet-connection even though I could connect my VPN-service through the Internet, albeit this has happened before and may not necessarily be alarming. It has got to do with the Killswitch on my VPN-service.

Information is the number one power tool today. The U.S. in the years from George W. Bush and forward has slided down that rabbit hole of tapping information from other countries, foreign businesses, and private persons all over the world to an ever-increasing extent. U.S. citizens in the U.S. are excluded. Excluded from corporate and military espionage are the other Five-eyes countries Britain, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. The American institutions are dependent on espionage on their others, by the Americans so-called allies, now. They cannot go back to how it was. When it comes to Germany it has always been surveillance and espionage that was the name of the game. But that is not my concern. What concerns me is Swedish companies losing their ability to gain a patent, before some American company who was given an edge can wedge into the market, by an American hostile take-over through the Damocles-sword hanging over the Swedish company that now is lacking time. The Swedish company will probably become more resource fatigued in case it contests the American company the NSA chose to aid. This is becoming an ever more brazen behavior by the U.S., and I fear that private U.S. companies are buying into the concept lately. World Israel News (WIN) and MainStreamNews (MSN) certainly have taken advantage of the situation. But WIN is an Israeli on-line news site. This is why I believe that the U.S. has an IT-savvy partner in Israel when it comes to tapping of information. Especially since both MSN and WIN requested my consent, for them to be able to search through my device, which happened simultaneously to me.

So, it looks like I must buy a new computer soon, if I can afford it. And I will not follow the news on American and Israeli on-line news sites anymore. We’ll see if they like that better. It is not going to be popular if many people avoid their news sites in the future, because after all, information is the name of the game and giving people the preferred information is the primary goal. Europe is lagging way after in this game. Hey, I’ve got an idea! Why don’t we remedy this sorrowful fact? The French could be an important partner in this since Emanuel Macron was an invitee on a state visit to Sweden last week, discussing technical propositions like IT-related issues with the Swedes.

I need to buy myself a new computer since I wouldn’t want them to plant incriminating files on my current device, like child pornography or something. To make others look bad is the other primary goal besides making yourself look good when pedaling your preferred information.

And the sources for this were myself, MSN, and WIN

I come from Arboga, Sweden, same latitude as Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki. The year in which I was born was 1965. But I grew up in the region of Scania in the south end of Sweden. I have several interests, A couple of them are represented on this blog. I don’t know what else to say about myself so I’ll stop here. The truth is, you wouldn’t know me if you had read a book about me. I’m pretty unique I like to think. We all are, but especially me. Roger M. Klang, civis Lundensis
